Wages are private here at the school, you may earn more than me or a bit less depending on factors like experience. Hours: 7:20am to 5:30am with lunch break and also 3 hour break from 12pm-3pm. Pretty comfortable huh?
Requirements:
English speaking, American accent is fine!
College/A Levels required. No degree needed.
No experience required, just be prepared to work with tiny, loud children every day!
The school helps with visa extension, also email me about that too.
I'm an English teacher posting on behalf of the school where I work, which is the Beijing branch of Hardoon International.
We're looking for an English teacher to come and work in the school, we're located a bus ride away from Tiantongyuan North Station, the school and the free apartment are about 30-40 minutes away from central Beijing.
The classes are ages 2-6, we teach from the Golden Castle books. Lots of singing and dancing, don't worry if you are a bit shy, it's alright to be silly around kids and they love it. I am super nervous and shy but I'm excited to get started! We are currently preparing the school to open on March 1st, it is brand new and beautiful. Really colourful, lovely offices, (You do have to put up with the typical Chinese toilets however!).
The school isn't blacklisted and the teachers here have been very fair and even too generous if possible. It is a brand new school, and whether you are a new English teacher or a seasoned veteran, you would fit in well here.
We're looking for another female teacher, purely because you'll share the apartment with me. The apartment is big, with a large living room, nice shower and western loo. A good kitchen too and lots of windows. Also have a TV, Wi-Fi and whatnot (I have also got a server to access international sites). I'm female from the UK close to London, but quite a tomboy, I play a lot of sports, get up early, go into the city a lot and am pretty tidy and organised (But not in an irritating way.) I also play guitar and do a lot of art.
The school are looking for teachers already in Beijing/China. Our previous teacher, actually went back to England as she was too homesick. They don't want to take that risk and also we need people pretty soon!
I guess that's it.. I can't think of anything else.
