Looking for Curriculum Leader Guangzhou, China

Established in 1997, Alcanta Education Group now has four subsidiaries; Alcanta American Prep School (AAPS), IB International High School, Alcanta College of Foreign Languages and Alcanta Vocational School. To meet the needs of our business development, we are looking for the Curriculumn Leader Guangzhou, China.

AAPS is looking to hire a suitable candidate for the Spring Term 2017 in the sub-tropical city of Guangzhou in the Pearl River Delta just north of Hong Kong. AAPS is an established international high school to prepare the students for pre-university courses at partner institutions in the United States and the United Kingdom.

1.Program Introduction
Our programme involves teaching 15-17 year old Chinese students English, IELTS, Maths, Combined Science and Business Studies, within the parameters of Pre-Alevel /GCSE qualification framework. The students are offered with choices of different pathways to the partner schools and universities to continue their study plan after studying in AAPS. All teaching materials would be provided by AAPS and additional support would be available from the school¡¯s partner colleges in the UK and U.S.A.

2.Key Job Responsibilities
*Teaching English/IELTS Preparations or other subjects
*Lead the academic team to achieve the quality teaching
*Oversee the academic affairs are managed and run properly
*Advise on the extra-curriculumn activities conducive to students¡¯ learning
*Assist and support to the marketing and recruitment efforts
*Detailed JD will be provided seperately

3.Candidate Requirements
*Good team leadership & people skill
*Work with passion & commitment
*Teaching experiences in English/IELTS Preparations,
*Teaching experiences in the relevant subjects for GCSE and A-Level programs
*Bachelor degree or above of related majors from a well-established university
*A person who can engage positively with young learners.

4.Preferred skills/experiences
*Bilingual skills of English and Chinese
*Experience of teaching students in China

5.Compensation Package
*Monthly salary: 25,000Rmb/month (before tax)
*Settelement benefit: 5,000 Rmb
*Monthly housing rental subsidy: 3000Rmb
