Looking for Enthusiastic and Professional Foreign Teachers

Vertigo Language Training Centre are looking for enthusiastic and professional foreign teachers to be part of our team. Students are mostly age 3-8, very few teenagers, some adult 1 on 1 classes. February, March, April & May contract start dates, details below.

Salary

Monthly

 8000 RMB base salary

 1000 RMB bonuses

 2000 RMB housing allowance (teacher responsible for utilities)

Yearly

 6000 RMB flight bonus, paid with final salary on contract completion

Work Conditions

 25 class hours per week

 5 office hours per week

 Unused class hours converted to office hours at 1 class hour = 1.5 office hours

 Z-visa and expert certificate support, administration costs and travel if required not reimbursed by the school

 Airport pickup on arrival

 Temporary accommodation provided and assistance finding housing, connecting internet etc.

 City orientation, rudimentary Chinese instruction

 Shared resources with other teachers, i.e lesson plans, game ideas.

 At least 14 days paid holiday per year at spring festival (excluding public holidays

 On-campus class sizes no more than six students

 Occasional outside classes, class size may exceed six students

 Teaching Assistant provided for all classes

 Own computer and workspace

 Modern Facilities with air conditioning

 Opportunity for promotion to lead teacher

Applicant Requirements

 BA from any accredited Western University, preferably in education or related field

 TEFL or TESOL qualification for applicants who are not education majors

 Two years work experience post-graduation

 At least one year teaching experience

 Under 30 years old

 Hardworking, good time-management skills, able to lesson plan effectively

 Caucasian descent

 Clear speech, good spelling and grammar

 Basic Chinese skills or an interest in the language preferred but not essential
