Looking for Teachers for Online English Lessons

Job description:

Conduct interactive English language lessons online via Skype. Please prepare and teach lessons that are customized to the students' individual needs. There is no set curriculum or textbook at Ling.en. Through offering enriching and meaningful learning experience to the students, you will increase the number of your regular students. You can take advantage of your profile page to attract the students' attention.

There are two types of the lesson requests: the first one is with a specific teacher's name and the other is without. The latter one is to be accepted by any teacher on a first-come, first-served basis.

Teaching schedule:

You'll show your availability on your profile page. The lesson may be 30- to 120-minute long (usually 45- or 60- minute long). We tend to have more lesson requests for weekends and weekdays during 8pm-0am Japan time.


Qualifications:

• Native English speaker
• Minimum 1 year of teaching/tutoring experience
• A home computer with a reliable, highspeed internet connection and a webcam, in order to work at home
• To be able to respond to lesson requests and/or messages from the Administrative Team within 48 hours.
  *You may indicate the time that you cannot be reached (including the holidays) and/or that you cannot conduct any lessons if there is any.
• To be punctual and professional.
