Math, Science (physics/chemistry) Needed in China

Summary:

Professional university professors majored in mathematics, science (Physics/Chemistry) needed to teach courses in civil engineering courses in Xinyu, Jiangxi, China. Competitive salary, benefits, and professional curriculum and training provided.

Duties:

Average of 20 teaching hours per week in assigned subject area of expertise. We prefer teachers who can teach English as well as other subjects, or who are qualified to teach different areas in their field of expertise.

Curriculum teaching plans are provided. Teachers are expected to design daily lessons aligned with curriculum learning objectives, as well as design quizzes, tests, and/or any other assessments. All teachers will receive guidance, as needed, from the academic director.

Grade and keep accurate records of student work. Provide individual feedback to students (and parents, if applicable).

Provide office hours and/or outside of class guidance for students. Arrange student activities and social events.

Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and students activities as needed. We welcome candidates who are interested in starting any extra-curricular activities for students.

Collaborate with other teachers to achieve program goals.

Requirements:

Native English speaker, should speak excellent English.

University degree in math and, science and/or subject-area field. Masters or higher degree preferred.

2 or more years of college or university teaching experience.

An international recognized degree.

Commitments to a one-year contract or longer

Preferred Qualifications:

Able to teach more than one subject

Familiar with engineering and natural sciences concepts and basics.

Experience in teaching abroad

Ability to contribute to student activities and events

BS in Mathematics and Computer Science
