Middle School 20 Lesson a Week, 8am-4pm - Shanghai

Job Description:

- All classes scheduled M-F 8:00 am ¨C 4:00 pm

- Teach English to classes of 20 ¨C 25 students

- twenty--- twenty five 40-minute classes per week

- 2 classes of students for each teacher

8 English lessons each class per week

- teach curriculum on comprehensive English and literature reading

-selective weekly club for western culture and creative drama

Qualifications:

- Hold a TEFL certificate or CELTA (preferred)

- Hold a university bachelor degree

- Be a native speaker of English

- Minimum 2 years teaching experience

- Have a reasonable level of comfort with technology (we use IWB and a variety of applications in the classroom ¨C training provided)

Compensation:

- 10-month contract, starting September 1st, 2014, but you'll want to be in country mid-August

- 12000--14,000 RMB gross per calendar month

- 10,000 RMB end-of-contract bonus (related to completion of contract and performance).

- Travel allowance 8,000 RMB per year, ½ paid upon completion of 1st semester in full, ½ upon completion of contract.

- Paid supplemental insurance.

- Paid winter vacation between semesters (4-6 weeks paid holiday, ideal to visit the country)

- On-going teacher development

- Bilingual staff to assist with housing/cultural issues

- Team dinners/trips to nearby sights
