Native English Language Teachers Required in Phetchaburi
Native English language Teachers required, May 4th, for large secondary school in Phetchaburi Thailand.
Prommanusorn School is a large, government secondary school, set in beautiful grounds,with approximately three thousand students from ages eleven to eighteen ( grades 7-12 )
Phetchaburi is an interesting, historical, market town, famous for its sugar palms and many old temples. The nearest beach is about 18 kilometres and Kaeng Krachan National Park is an hours drive away.
The Foreign Language Department is a very important part of the school. The teachers come from many countries: The USA, China, Japan, Spain, Korea, The Philippines, Cameroon, India, Myanmar, England and The Netherlands as well as Thailand. It is a very busy but relaxed and friendly working environment. For Thais their work place is like a family; the director is their father and their colleagues brothers and sisters.

A starting salary from 30,000 baht

Responsibilities and Duties:
To be at school 8:00 am - 4:10 Monday - Friday
Teach up to 25 contact hours per week
Be available to work occasional Saturdays/Sunday's to help prepare/train students for competitions or other school activities
Take part in English Camps
Present a professional teacher image and demeanour
Respect Thai culture and religion ( dress appropriately )
Gate Duty one morning per week
Qualifications preferred:
Bachelors Degree in Education or PGCE
CELTA or TESOL
Teaching experience
