Here's our Job description:

Title:                 English Teacher

Company:          English First ( EF Language school)

Location:    Taiyuan, Shanxi

Education:         Bachelor’s Degree or Higher

Base Pay:           10,000 – 12,000 RMB / month

Provisions:

• Housing (fully furnished apartment near school or 1500-2000 RMB/month stipend for teachers that would like to find their own housing)

Job description:
The main responsibility of a teacher is to help your students understand English, speak it and be able to write and read it. Your duties will range from the planning of classes and the marking of work handed in to participating in marketing activities in and around the school.

Typical duties include:

• Organizing and delivering classroom lessons
• Evaluating a students' class work and assignments.
• Recording and maintain accurate student attendance records and grades.
• Classroom management.
• Maintaining discipline in the classroom.
• Creating a vibrant teaching atmosphere.

Personal qualities required:

• You must be a good communicator as you will be on many occasions communicating with students and also other teaching staff.
• Ability to work in stressful situations and under pressure.
• Good listening skills.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Creativity. Teachers have to find ways to involve students into their lessons. Additionally, teachers may have to work with different learning styles to get the most out of each student.
• Patience. The students you work with will have different backgrounds and abilities.
