A beautiful city with many trees, lakes, and rivers, located 256 km northeast of Beijing. Chengde is a modern 21st century city built around an 18th-century imperial resort. The total population of the Chengde area is over 4 million residents, with approximately 400,000 living in the Chengde City center.

Qualifications / skills required:

Chengde model middle school employs teachers of all skill and experience levels, however they must all meet the following requirements:

Application Requirements:

- A minimum commitment of one year is required.

- Applicants MUST be native English speakers from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland.

- A degree or TESOL certificate

- Bechelor degree

- Your lifetime of speaking english is your best asset for this position!

Employment Details:

- 20 hours per week.

- Classes will be scheduled between 9 AM until no later than 6:30 PM

- high school students aged 16-20.

Kids students aged 5--12

- Classes are 45 minutes in length and typically contain 50-60 students.

- Teaching materials/lesson planning assistance provided.

Salary / Employment Benefits:

- Salary of 4000—7000 RMB - dependant on skills, experience.
