Introduction

Fortune Kindergarten International School (FKIS) belongs to Xiehe Education, a private organization now responsible for thirty educational institutions in Shanghai, including primary schools and middle schools. Xiehe Education is Shanghai's largest private educational organization, in a very flourishing market.

Fortune Kindergarten International School was first established in March 1998 and now has five campuses in Shanghai. In Pudong and Minghang Districts.

At FKIS we have a unique approach to bilingual education with each class having both a Chinese and English speaking homeroom teacher. Our co-teachers deliver a truly bilingual school-based thematic curriculum with equal emphasis given to both languages. With our focus on personal as well as academic development, together with an international education, we are truly preparing our young children for the future.

Position

* Homeroom Teacher/Language Teacher

* Full-time; Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

* Limited positions available for ages 2-6

* Contract starting August 19th, 2013

* First two weeks for orientation and preparation

Package

- Competitive salary, commensurate with qualifications and previous teaching experience.

- House allowance

- The school will purchase and maintain private medical insurance for the employee with http://www.mshchina.com (through this insurance teachers have access to a wide network of direct billing hospitals)

- 8 days of full paid sick leave valid within a one year employment contract

- A roundtrip airfare of maximum 10,000RMB reimbursed annually. Half when the contract starts and half when the contract finishes. For locally hired teachers the airfare will be covered by the school starting from the second year of contract

- Quarterly and semester performance bonuses total 2400RMB per school year

- Lunch will be provided by our professional catering staff

- The school will apply and pay for a working visa, work permit and residence permit

Requirements

- Teachers with energy, creativity and a passion for working in early childhood education

- At least 2 years experience teaching in early childhood as verified by references

- Teacher Certification or Education Degree preferred

- Understanding of curriculum development

- Share equal responsibility with your Chinese co-teacher for daily teaching, classroom management, lesson planning and parent communication

- Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work successfully with both children and adults

- Native speaker level English

- Ability to, and interest in contributing to the extracurricular program

- Participating as a team member and supporting the school's activities
