Native English Speaking Teachers (nets)

We are now looking for candidates who could fill some immediate openings (commencement by Feb 2014) in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen. Candidates will need to teach Early Childhood classes to students from 3.5 years old to 6 years old, to primary students from 6 to 12 years old, and to secondary and post-secondary students from 12 to 19 years old.

Teachers are required to:

1. teach English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, including phonics classes;

2. teach Drama workshops and classes;

3. direct Drama and/or Musical performances;

4. write lesson plans for all their classes and support in the development of related curriculum;

5. evaluate students performances; and

6. perform other related duties.

Candidates should be:

1. Native speakers of English

2. University Graduates of Drama, Education, English or related disciplines;

3. possess TESOL/TEFL certificates before job commencement. Candidates who do not have a TESOL yet can come to HK to enrol in a 3 weeks TESOL program;

4. able to direct, or choreograph, or sing, or direct musical performances a definite advantage but not essential;

5. a good team player, but can also work independently, and love working with children;

6. able to develop related curriculum another advantage.

7. More location specific requirements:

i. Hong Kong Openings:

a. Fresh Graduates are welcomed;

b. Gap year students, post- secondary early childhood related diploma graduates are also welcomed;

ii. Shenzhen & Shanghai Openings:

a. Age not less than 23;

b. 2 years of working experience with at least one year teaching related;
