Native English Speaking Teaching Positions Available
Summary:
We are particularly looking for teachers who have a high level of energy, great teamwork and who poss a great deal of creativity! For example, we have the Scouts of Interlingua, which gives teachers the chance of exploring and learning about the great outdoors with their students. We also offer music lovers the chance for them to teach performing arts, such as dancing, theater, or playing a musical instrument! Whichever your passion is, we give you the opportunity to apply it to your classroom!
Details:
Interlingua School is looking for teachers in the following fields of Expertise: ESL EFL, Elementary, ESL to Children, Kindergarten, Science, Summer Camp, Scouting (Outdoor Activities), Performing Arts .
Qualifications:
* 1. University degree
* 2. Native English speaker from major English speaking countries as UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Applicants from countries other than the mentioned above need to prove his/her English fluency by providing a CD or MP3 file of his/her voice or having an interview face to face or on the phone.
* 3. Honesty and responsibility
* 4. Reference
Desirable:
* 1. To have two year teaching experience in a non-English speaking country
* 2. TEFL, CTEFLA, TESOL or equivalent
* 3. A strong desire to live and work in China
* 4. Experience of working with children (five years and older)
* 5. Robust health
* 6. Ability to adapt
Required of the teacher:
* Dedication in providing good quality contractual teaching hours
* Punctuality
* A supportive attitude to the continuing success of the school
Compensation:
5900-8600 RMB/Month for 18-26 hours teaching OR extra-curricular activities per week depending on the candidate's education and teaching experience, length of contract and workload.
1000-2000USD airfare allowance on the completion of contract, prorated more or less depending on the length of contract.
500-1200USD leaving bonus on the completion of contract, prorated more or less depending on the length of contract and based on overall performance during time of contract.
Free, fully-furnished apartment is provided for single use. The teacher will pay for the utilities of electricity, gas, and telephone. Internet is provided by the school at home and at school.
Teachers are also provided with 2 hours/week of Chinese language classes.
