Native English Teachers Needed in Shanghai!

We are a young and fast-growing education technology startup based in Shanghai. Our program provides English literature reading courses/American Common Core-aligned reading and writing courses for Chinese elementary school children. The children enrolled in the program read a variety of books based on their English level. They also take English courses using American elementary textbooks. After each lesson, they are expected to complete oral and written exercises and homework assignments. 
The lessons take the form of pre-recorded, interactive video lessons, delivered via our proprietary, cloud-based learning platform. We write the scripts before shooting the videos and adding interactive elements to the videos.

Position: Curriculum Content Creator

Job description: 
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks. These will include (but are not limited to) the following: 
• Work with our curriculum team to develop course and lesson ideas. 
• Write the scripts for video lessons based on reading/course materials. 
• Be recorded teaching the lessons as the instructor. 
• Mark oral and written homework assignments submitted by enrolled students.

Requirements: 
• Must be a native speaker of English 
• Must have a bachelor’s degree 
• A bachelor’s degree in a Liberal Arts subject, education or in a related subject 
• Be familiar with the American Common Core curriculum or the Canadian equivalent 
• Have a passion for curriculum design and writing 
• Having some teaching experience/ESL teaching experience is a plus (but not required)
