Native English Teachers Required in Valladolid

Native English teachers required to teach in an exciting new language school in Spain. Full time legal contract. From September/October until June. Pay is competitive. This is an opportunity to teach in a new school where we have the freedom to deliver classes in new and inventive ways.

We are a new language academy in Valladolid, Castilla y León in North West Spain. We will provide a full range of classes including, exam classes (Trinity and Cambridge), young learners, business, music etc.

We need native speaker teachers to teach in the beautiful city of Valladolid. Valladolid is one hour on the train from Madrid and is excellent for learning Spanish. It has a population of appox 300,000 and a huge array of cultural and sporting events. The Spanish spoken here is the clearest and easiest to understand in Spain.

Requirements:

· Some teaching experience or TEFL training (Specific certificates or experience is not required, each candidate will be assessed on their skill set)

· Have an EU passport or permission to work in Spain.

· A commitment to the communicative method.

· Engaging and creative teachers.

· Enthusiasm

· A willingness to learn and develop their teaching.

· Some knowledge of Spanish language is preferable.

Our methodology is to make every class as fun and interesting as possible. We want teachers who are willing to experiment and challenge student´s perception of language learning. Every student has to leave speaking! We have brand new interactive white boards and projectors to enable every teacher to deliver dynamic and exciting classes.

Job Info:

· Class sizes will be 5-7 students.

· Teaching all ages.

· Most classes from 16:00 onwards, but some morning classes could be organised.

· Attending teacher meetings for development

· Preparing end of trimester exams.

· Holiday – Standard Spanish allowance. (paid holidays including Christmas, Easter and national/regional/local holidays)

· Taxes and Social Security deducted according to Spanish Law.

· Assistance on arrival and with temporary accommodation and finding accommodation for the year. Plus all guidance on documentation and setting up a bank account.

· The possibility of summer work in our summer camps.
