Salary: in the range of 8000RMB depending on experience and location

Job description
You will be working on the Hubei Wuhan International School Program. This program sends foreign native English teachers to schools across the province (cities like Wuhan, Yiching, Hefei) to teach in state schools. You will either be part of a team of foreign teachers, or you may be the only teacher at the school. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a good relationship with the local Chinese teachers at the school and become a member of the community.
The lessons are usually pre-made, but will require a bit of adapting, and of course you are free to add elements to the lessons to make them more fun and interesting. You will soon become familiar with your students and their abilities so you will know what you need for each class.
You will work Monday to Friday in normal school hours. No evenings and your weekend is Saturday and Sunday, unlike jobs in teaching centres where you may work evenings up to 10pm and have to work Saturday and Sunday.
Accommodation is provided and will either be a shared apartment or a single apartment. If you share, it will be with a teacher on the program. The only bills you will be responsible for are the utilities (gas, water, internet)

All teachers on the program can do Chinese language lessons, and if you do not have a TEFL qualification, you will be put through a TEFL course for free.
Salary is in the range of 8000RMB per month and a flight allowance is paid at the end of your contract.
Holiday allowance varies depending on the school and location, and will be given in more detail during the interview with the foreign teacher director.

Native speaker and passport holder from UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa. (ESSENTIAL)
