Native Speakers Needed for New Academic Year 2012

The International Language & Business Centre, located in Yangon, Myanmarwould like to recruit native speakers for the new academic year starting in June, 2012 to teach English to our students in Lower and Upper Primary and Lower Secondary levels.


Applicants must at least hold a bachelor degree either in English or other disciplines plus a teaching certificate (TESOL, TEFL) and some years teaching experience in a formal school setting at the levels they would like to teach in our school.


Working days are from Mon to Fri; 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Maximum teaching hours is 25 hours per week. We follow the British education system and have developed our own English curriculum.Teachers applying for the Lower Primary classes should be prepared to develop their own teaching program because it is the school's intention that the teacher enhance the command of English of the students by developing lessons which would help them attain this goal.


An attractive salary will be offered plus accommodation allowance and a nominal transport allowance. Visa runs will be covered by the school including airfare, visa fees and one night hotel fees in Bangkok. 5 weeks recreation leave will be enjoyed in April to first week of May by a teacher completing a one year contract, which would be extended on mutual agreement at the end of the first contract. The one year contract would begin in late May 2012 until May 31, 2013.


Terms and conditions for Expatriate Teachers will be sent to interested teachers.
