Inspire a love of learning in your own group of students as a teacher in Wat Don Thong's English Program. Our program is led by foreign teachers and gives you the professional discretion to manage your classroom.
Our motto is 'Communicate with the World' and our administration supports our innovative teaching strategies with field trips, technology and support staff.
Our K1 to P6 teachers teach several subjects all in English. We are seeking energetic experienced teachers to get our students ready to use English to communicate with the world.
Together with your Thai homeroom co-teacher you will build relationships to last a lifetime.
We are a highly regarded English Program and parents are enrolling their students at such a rate that we are continually adding to our 17 person teaching staff on a regular basis. Wat Donthong is a very special community and we look forward to having you become a part of it.
We have three hiring windows:
1. A Pratom Five position starts as soon as possible.
2. Kindergarten 1 should be available for training in October with a start date of November 1st.
3. We are also accepting applications for the 2014 school year for numerous positions Kindergarten 1 to Pratom 6 as well as Math, Social Studies and Computers specialists to start training in March and teaching in April 2014.

Responsibilities:
1. Teach a maximum of 20 lessons per week (current load around 18 lessons).
2. Develop curriculum and lesson plans according to the topics given by the school and the National Curriculum.
3. Assess students and provide grade reports to the school and parents. Prepare quizzes, tests, and exam papers.
4. Participate in and give your support to school activities, i.e. in-service training, departmental meetings, parents' meetings, occasional ceremonies, English camps, holiday parties etc.
5. Be willing to contribute your time and effort to support and motivate students to develop their English skills as well as to be a team player.
6. Engage enthusiastically in professional development and trainings.
Qualifications:
• Native English speaker (UK, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand).
• Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in Education or a PGCE). Transcripts needed for your work visa.
• TEFL, TESOL or teaching certification (desirable but not essential).
• 1-2 years' experience in teaching preferred.
• Applicants must be prepared for long term stay (minimum 1 year).
Note: ONLY Native speakers will be considered for the positions offered. CV's or resumes from non-native speakers without teaching experience will be discarded.
