Native Speaking English Teachers Needed
Native speaking English teachers needed for a large, government, primary and secondary school located inside the Rangsit Campus of Thammasart University.
We are a large, well known primary and secondary school in Patumthani Province, just Northeast of Bangkok. We have from Pratom 1 (1st Grade) up to Mattayom 3 (10th Grade).
We are currently accepting applications for the following position:
English teacher in English Program (E.P.): We need one native English speaking teacher to teach in the English Program (E.P.), 21 or 22 periods per week.
Each period is 60 minutes long. The working hours are from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
The whole teaching team will be in it’s own air conditioned office, with computers, internet, desks, coffee/tea, microwave, refrigerator, etc. The contract is 12 months long, paid for all 12. You would start work on May 2nd, but teaching doesn’t start until mid-May. The contract ends on April 30th, 2014. You will have most (if not all) of October and April off, with pay.
You must have at least a Bachelor degree. Ed grads are preferred, but non-ed grads are welcome. You will be required to have a new, original set of your academic transcripts, from your issuing college/university, send directly to us, not passing through you. You will also be required to have a Criminal Clearance Certificate sent directly to us, not passing through you, from your country(ies) of citizenship.
Salary Range:
30,000 – 40,000 Baht per month (depending on qualifications and experience)
There is also a year end bonus, based on evaluation criterion that you can see if you come for an interview, of up to 20,000 Baht per year.
You will have to pay for your Non-Immigrant Visa and Work Permit up front (5,000 Baht) but will have 5,000 Baht reimbursed to you in your April 2014 pay. We will, of course, assist you with the entire process, as well as with getting either a Teachers License or Temporary Permit to Teach, from The Teachers Council of Thailand.
