ISAC UNIVERSITY & PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHING PROGRAM IN CHINA

Working at a university in China: foreign teachers have 12-16 classes per week, there is no office hours;
You will work Mon-Fri, usually about 3-4 days a week. Your host university will provide almost everything
you need including apartment, travel allowance, medical insurance. Although the overall salary is not high, the
hourly pay is really good as you work less hours. And it is fairly easy to save. University teaching jobs provide
probably the best work-life balance among all ESL jobs. There is also less pressure and more activities as it belongs

- Public School Salary : 12,000-14,000 RMB per month after tax

- University Salary : 8,000-10,000 RMB per month after tax

Qualification

- Candidates must be from a native-speaking country

- Have a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate for 120 hours or more
(OR 2+ years teachingexperience OR Linguistics/Education Major)

- Have a Bachelors degree or above, Clean criminal records
