New Teachers Needed on the Sunny Island of Hainan!
Happy Town English, located on the sunny island of Hainan, is rapidly expanding and looking for new teachers that can offer fun and interesting lessons with a high emphasis on education. We are designed as a Canadian foreign school, teaching kids from 6 months old to 15 years old. Our aim is to stimulate the creative and expressive side of each student. We take education as a responsibility, thus employing teachers that are serious about what they do. As we are a Canadian school, only North American applicants will be considered.
Some Highlights of Happy Town English are:
*Lots of resources at your disposal, including media, flashcards, craft supplies and props
*Small classes- 6-12 students per class and most will have a Chinese teacher to assist you.
*Working with a foreign staff- your ideas, complaints and questions are dealt with promptly. Support is there when you need it
*Location- Hainan is an island with lots to do and see. We are the “Hawaii of China”.
Full-time position includes:
*The salary is 7,500 per month for 24 teaching hours(one teaching hour is 45 minutes).
*An apartment (you pay the bills) close to the school
*Sponsored Z visa and Foreign Experts Certificate
*5,000 RMB end of contract bonus
You must:
*be a serious teacher that is passionate about teaching
*be North American with English as your first language
*have a university or college degree
*have at least two years of teaching experience within China
*be able to commit to a one-year contract (as we are constantly growing, there is lots of room to move up in the company)
*iPad/iTouch knowledge is an asset
We are currently hiring for July/August 2012. We continually open new classes, so you are welcome to apply throughout the semester.
