Position 1 - Job Title: Nursery, Pre-K, and Kindergarten Teacher

Location: Beijing

Reporting To: Lead Teacher

Objective: As a teacher, you will be working with students from 2 to 7 years old. Along with our Chinese Teacher Assistants and Daily Life Teachers, your job will be to engage our students to develop their own talents and social competence to become a curious life-long-learner.

Qualifications:

• Native English Speakers from North America, UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand

Weekly teaching hours: 40 hours/week (27.5 Contact hours)

Position 2 - Job Title: Global Track After School ESL Teacher

Location: Beijing

Reporting To: Lead Teacher

Objective: Our team of international Global Track teachers present students with an immersive English campus in which students are challenged not just to communicate in English, but also to speak their mind in a variety of issues, from their favorite foods to global warming, preparing them for future dialogues in China and abroad. GT teachers are there to support and mentor students, provide guidance, and instill a sense of curiosity and passion for learning.

Job Profile:

Position 3 - Job Title: After School Site Operations Manager

Location: Beijing

Reporting To: General Manager

Objective: The Site Operations Manager (SOM) is the head foreign staff member at a GT site. (S)he is responsible for coordination between all aspects of an individual GT campus location.

Job Profile:

• Management of foreign teachers through training, performance tracking and scheduling

• Working effectively with Chinese administrative and sales staff using cross-cultural communication skills

• Teach classes to young learners between the ages of 3-14 on weekday afternoons and weekends

• Ability to adapt quickly to change and creative problem solving

• Ability to multi-task in a high volume and superior organization skills

• Familiarity with work expectations of China

• Highly efficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree

• 3 years experience teaching in ESL children’s education preferably in China

• Significant experience in education management or corporate management role

• Proven people management and academic leadership skills

• Conversational fluency in Chinese greatly preferred

Terms:

Start date: June 1, 2014

Working hours: Weekday evenings and weekends, 5 days per week

Location: Beijing

Compensation: Competitive with Director of Studies (DOS) remuneration at other institutes, commensurate with experience and teaching ability
