Nursery/kindergarten Teachers Needed
Nursery/Kindergarten Teachers:
Full time English language teachers are needed for a high quality, new, licensed Kindergarten in the Cambridge section of Guangzhou. The school will open in September of 2013 with teachers reporting by mid August. The new school will be opening with 100 students ages one to three years. The nursery classes will include Mommy and Me, parent-child interactive English immersion classes. The preschool classes will be based on the standards of the National Association of Young Children Guidelines, the California Preschool Foundations and Project Based Learning.
The school will be designed as an inviting, safe space where children will receive love, nurturing, and education in social emotional development, art, music, science, math, language and early literacy.
The ideal teaching candidate will not be expected to know Mandarin, but cultural sensitivity and respect for the Chinese culture and lifestyle are required. Teacher applicants should have the ability to communicate effectively with parents, children and staff members and to collaborate to plan curriculum.
Competitive Pay Package
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or advanced degree
- Two years experience teaching in an early childhood setting
- Knowledge of Dual Language teaching strategies
- Understanding and course work in child development
- TESOL or other certificate for teaching dual immersion language instruction, bilingual education
