One-on-one English Teachers Needed in Beijing

Dear Interested Applicants:

My name is Elijah Whaley. In January of 2014 I will be assuming the position of Director at the Beijing Forest Language School in Beijing, China. Beijing Forest Language School is seeking qualified English teachers who are willing to make a one-year commitment to live and teach in Beijing. Contracts will begin in February 2014.

Benefits:

  20USD per hr. (minimum 20 teaching hr. per week)

Requirements:

• 
  One-year commitment


• 
  Bachelor degree (English or education preferred but not absolutely necessary)


• 
  Previous teaching experience is a must (even if it is limited)


• 
  Proficiency in the Chinese language isnotrequirement

Teachers will most commonly teach students one-on-one. However, some teachers may be placed in full classrooms at a local grade school. Students ages range from 5 to 18, although there will be opportunities to teach university students and business professionals. Applicants should have positive, outgoing, and adventurous personalities. This is not only an opportunity to teach and live abroad, but an opportunity to grow and learn while living in one of the fastest developing countries in the world.
