Part-time Online English Teacher, Shanghai, China

The Opportunity
SpeakHi Business Unit of Web Education Group is currently seeking qualified candidates to join our online English teaching team.

About the Position
As an online teacher at Web, you will have access to a platform that allows students from all over China to come together to study and perfect their English skills. Our online teachers make the miracle of distance teaching possible, enabling students to use the English they have learned in the real world. Our teachers also provide students with clear and helpful feedback after each class.

Main Responsibilities
• Deliver 25-minute lessons (private class) and 50-minute lessons(group lessons) to students through our online learning program for at least 10 hours per week (each hour contains 2 25-minute lessons or 1 50-minute lesson).
• Willing to work irregular hours (weeknights and weekends).
• Teachers can work split shifts (e.g., a few hours in the morning, and the remaining hours in the evening).
• Use electronic media and Vcube or other platform to teach English effectively and efficiently.
• Provide clear and balanced student feedback.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Better to have internationally recognized TEFL or TESOL certification
• Experience preferred but not required
• Punctual, outgoing and enthusiastic work attitude

Additional Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must be native English speakers with passports from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
It’s preferred that the candidates having a bank account of any bank in China.

Employment Package
Teacher monthly salary is calculated as follows:
• 150RMB per hour
