Dear Potential Applicant,
As the foreign community living in South Korea is well aware, JLS is the most sought after positions due to professionalism, organization, and satisfaction of teachers. This is largely due to the fact that the owner of the publicly traded corporation was a long term teacher. Therefore, the philosophy is to take care of the teachers and teachers will take care of the corporation. It is a rare occasion that JLS has any teaching positions available. However, one position has become available. The open position is in Gangseo, located in western Seoul. This position begins immediately, so the applicant should have a transferrable visa. The chosen teacher will obviously be given a full teaching package as we do not see the point in trying to squeeze a teacher of a minimal amount of money to damage our highly regarded reputation.
These benefits include:
-Full Pension
-Health Insurance
-Severance Pay
-Travel expenses of 1.2 million Won upon completion
-Housing or 700,000 Won housing allowance
-2.3 million Won starting pay
-Roughly 20 classes a week
Our Native Teachers focus on speaking and conversation because they are native speakers. As a result, there are no essays to grade or take home, no painful grammar books, or any other inconvenience we find annoying for our teachers. The curriculum has been designed by our Native Teachers and Research and Development department over the course of many years and our teachers love it. We hold biannual workshops and seminars to help improve our teachers¡¦ methodologies and techniques in the classroom and have only heard positive feedback from these sessions.
