Muffy’s International Kindergarten (MIK) has four campuses across Beijing and has been operating for over 10 years. MIK offers English immersion through its nursery, preschool, kindergarten and after school programs. At MIK, we know just how critical the development stages are when a child is in their Early Years and how important it is to have a team of passionate educators. Requirements

• Minimum of a BA degree preferably in Education

• TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certification (120 hours minimum)

• Must have 2 years work experience after graduation

• Native English speakers from USA, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand

• Ability to clear a background check

• Flexible, fun, friendly and kind

The Position

Our teachers expose each student to a wide assortment of activities that allow them to become active participants in their learning journey. Using Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence Theory as the backbone of our curriculum, we tailor our lessons to support each child’s unique abilities and special talents through the different smarts

Day School

Students who come to the school are between the ages of 2 to 7 years old. Each teacher has their own class they stay with for the entire year with a maximum of 18 students in the class. Along with our Chinese Teacher assistants and daily life teachers, your job will be to engage our students to develop their own talents and social competence to become a curious life-long-learner.

Start Date: February 22, 2016

Global Track

Students in the Global Track program range between 3-14 years old. Teacher works in the evenings on weekdays and on weekends with only a maximum of 25 hours on site every week. Class sized are kept small at a maximum of 10 students per class so that students are given lots of one on one time with the teacher. In addition to English classes, Global Track offers Art, Cooking, Lego, Debate and Sports classes to its students.
