Primary Teachers
We are working closely with a partner organisation who are seeking Primary Teachers for their schools in Guangdong and Guizhou Province, China. These opportunities are to start in March 2020.
Candidates are required to hold a Bachelor Degree plus a TEFL Certificate/Teaching License and have a minimum of 1 years teaching experience. Candidates are also required to prepare and deliver lessons based on the curriculum provided and teach English speaking classes.
Guangzhou, once better known internationally as Canton, has been China’s busiest trading centre for centuries. Despite breakneck redevelopment up to and after the 2010 Asian Games, much of the metropolis still hums along at a pleasantly sedate pace, where narrow, leafy streets conceal temples and mosques, pockets of colonial-era heritage, traditional dim-sum eateries, distinctive qílóu shophouses and Lǐngnán architecture. Equally, you can embrace modernity via the 21st-century architectural landmarks of the showpiece Zhūjiāng New Town, such as the late Zaha Hadid’s Opera House and the slim-waisted Canton Tower, rising up over the Pearl River, which cuts a lazy swathe through the city. About the School
Our partner organisation is based in Guangzhou, China and most of their positions are in the Guangdong Province. They have been established for over 16 years and considered one of the forerunners in educational internationalisation in Southern China. They work alongside kindergartens, schools, universities and training centres.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates are required to hold a Bachelor Degree plus a TEFL Certificate/Teaching License and have a minimum of 1 years teaching experience. Candidates are also required to provide age appropriate classes/activities to encourage children to learn English and set a positive learning environment. Native English proficiency and a valid passport from one of the following countries: UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, or New Zealand is also required.
