Primary/secondary Native English Speakers Required
St. Joseph Rayong School is looking for native English speaking teachers to join our team on May 2nd.
We are looking to add to our team in May and have positions in
-Primary
-Secondary
The ideal candidates will have some experience teaching children and will have a degree in any field. We cannot accept teachers without degrees.
The successful candidate will be teaching a maximum of 22 periods a week in a school will friendly staff and students.
The periods are 50 minutes and all the students at our school are girls. We have a very well equipped school with air-con, projectors and IWB in all the classrooms, as well as access to other modern facilities. The students for primary and secondary level also have course books that provide the outline of the curriculum.
The school has invested a lot of money in technology and we require any teacher at the school to be comfortable using the technology. You would be creating interactive lessons and implementing them regularly.
We are aware of the role that technology is playing in our students' daily lives and we realise that a lot of the students are stimulated outside the classroom a lot more than in it. We want to be able to create a similar environment inside the classroom.
There are currently 11 Western teachers on staff who all enjoy access to multimedia rooms, interactive whiteboards, computer labs, home economics rooms and a large collection of books and other resources to help them teach effectively. The internet is available throughout the school and all the teachers have access to photocopying.
You will be required to remain at school from 7:30am to 4:30 pm. Western food is provided for you at lunchtime.
We do hire Filipino teachers to teach science and maths but we are not looking for maths or science teachers at the moment so please don’t apply.

All short listed candidates will be invited for an interview at the school sometime between now and April 20th. All candidates will be required to do a short demonstration lesson.
