Overview: Our client, an International Educational Group, is seeking an experienced Principal for their location within Sichuan Province. The Principal Early Years Program will have administrative and teaching experience, as well as experience with the International school system. The Principal will be responsible for the teachers and staff of the Early Years Program, ages 2 thru 12, which include combined teachers in the local division as well as the international division.
Location: Sichuan Province, China
Contract Dates: 2 or 3 year contract beginning July or August 2012
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary in the range of RMB30K-40K/month depending on experience
Accommodation allowance is provided
Round trip airfare, based on successful completion of contract
Medical Insurance
Contract completion bonus
Qualifications Required:
Certified K-12 Teacher with a Bachelors Degree; Masters Degree preferred
5+ years’ administrative experience within an educational institution
5+ years’ experience as a teacher
Experience in PYP, Montessori, and ECE for Primary/ Elementary positions
Previous international work experience, specifically in a school with combined International and Local divisions
Native English Proficiency
Proficient use of SMART Board and other technology used in the classroom
Serious teaching professionals who are high energy, motivated, culturally sensitive and have a desire to work in a diverse environment
Minimum of 3 recent professional references from previous supervisors
