2 positions have become available for business English specialists in our Corporate Language Training Unit (CLT). The unit works with multinational companies and Chinese State Owned Enterprises (SOEs). Our clients include Siemens, Proctor & Gamble, Airbus and GSK. Our students are Chinese employees. Their ability ranges from elementary to advanced. They are taught in small classes (up to a maximum of 16 students) . VIPs are taught one to one. The students are hardworking and are keen to improve their English. They are also charming and treat teachers with respect.

Teachers are given help with work visas, local documentation, accommodation and learning Chinese. There are opportunities to further develop teaching skills and opportunities for career development. Living and teaching in China is exciting and rewarding. CLT is a unique team that is perfectly placed to meet the growing needs of the many multinational organisations located in Tianjin.

Requirements

You will be a native English speaker with a degree and TEFL/CELTA training. You will have at least two years teaching experience. In addition you will have relevant business experience, either from working in a business environment or from academic study.

We work up to 40 hours per week of which a maximum of 20 hours is classroom teaching. The remainder is spent on lesson preparation, administration and student assessment.

Compensation

Salary – approximately 7000-8000rmb (net) per month

Accommodation - free shared accommodation or 2000rmb (net) allowance per month

Travel - 9000rmb (net) per year

Training - 2000rmb (net) training allowance per year

Contract Completion Bonus -13th month salary
