Public School Teaching Position Is Available in Shanghai, China

Changning Public School Teaching Program (location: Shanghai) 1 teacher

Contract period: 1 September 2014 – 12 June 2015

Expected Arriving Date: 25 August 2014

We’re looking for 1 teacher for our public school program in Shanghai. Teach middle school students in Shanghai. Teach on average 20 hours per week. Monday to Friday (8:00am to 4:00pm). The position entails teaching English to students between the ages of 13 and 15 (grade 6-8). Each class is 40 minutes long. A set of curriculum is provided and teachers are given in-depth training before they start teaching. The position would require the teacher to be in Shanghai on or before August 25 for training and orientation.

The details are as follows:

Contract period: 1 September 2014 – 12 June 2015 (9.5 months)

Basic salary: RMB10,000-12,000 NET after tax (depending on experience & qualifications)

Housing allowance: RMB1,000

End of contract bonus: RMB5,000 (paid on completion of the contract)

Performance bonus: RMB5,000 (paid on completion of the contract)

Health Insurance Reimbursement: up to RMB1,300

Holidays: 16 (inclusive of National holidays – there will be one month unpaid leave in the winter)
