Pyp Kindergarten Teacher Wanted

We are looking for outgoing and energetic teachers that love teaching young children. Our school offers a great opportunity for experienced teachers or teachers just starting out with an eager to learn and grow. We are and IB candidate school and follow the IB PYP curriculum. We offer PYP training at the beginning of the year and opportunities for further training for every teacher interested in progressing their career. Yiwu is very international city due to its large space in the small commodities production and trade. It is only 90 minutes to Shanghai by high-speed train and also has an international airport. So you can still travel easily but save a lot more due to the lower cost of living compared to the major cities. Potential teachers should be available to start August 28. Location: Yiwu, Zhejiang, China

Start Date: August 28, 2017 

Number of positions: 2

Nationalities accepted (Due to visa constraints): USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand 

Salary: 12,000 – 16,000 RMB after tax (Depending on qualifications) 

Contract length: 1 year 

Working days: 5 day work week from Monday-Friday. Saturday-Sunday OFF

Working Hours: 8:00-5:30 (90 minutes for lunch)

Teaching Hours: Vary based on student age. Roughly 5-10 teaching hours per week.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner available on working days.

Student Age: 3-6 years old 

Class Length: 40-60 minutes per class (average of 2 classes per day) 

Current number of Foreign Teachers: 24 

Accommodation: Housing Allowance

Flight: Return or One way ticket to home country after contract completion. 

Vacation time: National Holidays. Roughly 3 weeks off for Chinese New Year with pay. 2 months off unpaid in the summer with an option to work summer camp.

Training: PYP training is provided as well as opportunities to take IB workshops throughout your teaching time.

Visa: Z Visa provided and expenses reimbursed by the school if the teacher has all necessary paperwork and native English speaker assistance with process 

Paperwork Required for work visa: Notarized copy of Bachelor’s degree with authentication from local Chinese consulate. Clean criminal record check with authentication from local Chinese consulate.
