An introduction to Wuxi Korean School
Wuxi Korean School was established in September of 2006. During the past five years, the school made breakthrough under the leadership of Jeon Kwang-pyo, the headmaster of Wuxi Korean School by establishing junior high and senior high department. The number of students expanded from the previous 23 to around 500 students. Our students come from not only Wuxi but also surrounding cities like Suzhou and Changzhou.
The school operates with the same curriculum adopted at schools in Korea. It will also include English and Chinese classes by native speakers, as part of the school’s objective to internationalize the educational provision and cultivate Korean residents abroad into competent overseas human resources.

Job Description:
We are looking for qualified ESL teachers for our primary and secondary school departments.
1. ESL teachers are given a class size of 12 to 18 students.
2. ESL teachers teach a maximum of 22 classes a week. ESL teachers are required to be in the staff room before 8:20 AM
3. ESL teachers are required to stay in the school from 8:20 AM to 4:30 PM
4. ESL teachers are required to make a weekly detailed and general lessons plans submitted every Friday of the week
5. ESL teachers are required to prepare midterm and final test.
6. ESL teachers are required to administer tests, grade and record test results.
7. ESL teachers are required to attend regular school and staff meetings.
8. ESL teachers are required to take part in school activities and programs.
Qualification:
1. At least a two year work experience as an ESL/English teacher.
2. Teaching degree/Bachelor Degree.
3. ESL certificate.
4. Responsible, punctual, patient and friendly
5. Team player
Salary, visa and other compensation
1. A monthly salary of RMB 9500 to RMB 10,500 or above depending on educational attainment and teaching experience.
2. A monthly research allowance 0f RMB 500( RMB 700 if you have a teaching degree)
3. A housing subsidy of RMB 3,000
4. Over time pay of RMB100/lesson for classes over 22
5. Return ticket from your home country to China.
6. A proper work visa will be processed and financed by the school
7. Medical examination in China will be shouldered by the school.
