YBM is seeking a curriculum developer to work at the YBMSisa.com Head Office in Pangyo Techno Valley, Bundang, just 15 minutes by subway to Gangnam Station on the ShinBundang line. Pangyo Techno Valley is home to major corporations such as Samsung, POSCO, SK Planet and other major technology companies such as NEXON, NC Soft, AhnLab and more. Pangyo Techno Valley South Korea’s edition of Silicon Valley.
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications; excellent grammar skills, good writing skills, work well fellow team members and complete assignments within the required timelines. Also enjoy working in an office environment and contributing to the development of ESL materials for English Village programs targeting ages 5 to 16 year olds.

Position: Curriculum Developer at YBMSisa.com Head Office
Salary: 2.2 to 2.4 million won per month (28,600,000 to 31,200,000/ YR) + severance (13 payments for 12 months)
Housing: Subsidy of 500,000 won per month (no housing provided)
Korean Pension and Health Insurance: Fully comply with this regulation
Benefits: Severance pay, vacation days + all national holidays off
Start Date: ASAP and mutual agreement
Work Place: YBM Head Office in Pangyo Techno Valley, 15 min. from Gangnam Station
Work Hours: Monday through Friday; 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Typical work activities: Working within the YBM R&D team liaising with the content developers as well as creating/contributing curriculum materials. Perform duties such as checking spelling, grammatical errors, sub-editing text written by different authors to ensure consistent style and awareness of new words/phrases usage with a view to ensuring they are appropriate for our targeted students

1. A Native English speaker with F2 or F6 visa (preferably), D10 or current E2 visa holder
2. Must have teaching children experience at in South Korea
3. Must be able to come in for an interview
4. Bachelors degree or higher
