Yonsei FLI (Foreign Language Institute) Translation & Editing Service was launched with a vision of providing professional proofreading and full editing services.

Professional Editor (Part-Time)

2. JOB DESCRIPTION

The main duty will be translating dissertations and articles which will be published in academic journals using ¡®Track Changes' in Microsoft Word. Projects include various documents in the field of humanities, sciences and engineering. Translators are expected to significantly improve the quality of academic language in the requested document .

3. EDITING & CLIENT TYPE

90% of our clients are graduate students, Ph.D candidates, or university professors. We receive articles, dissertations, and research proposals from different field of majors: medical, business, literature, etc. We are looking for quality editing that accurately captures content intentions in the original document.

4. COMPENSATION

* 10,000 Korean Won per 350 words (400 words in the first training month).

5. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1) Applicants must have experience in editing dissertations, research thesis, or articles for science journals.

2) Applicants who have previously worked in an editing firm. (Not Required)

3) Educational background: Applicants with Master's degree or relevant experience.
