Position: Chemistry Teacher

Job Description

lTo provide the best possible teaching and learning processes and environment for the students;

lTo improve students’ achievements and performance in the class as well as in extra curriculum activities;

lTo accustom students to western teaching style and improve their performance in relative exams;

lTo facilitate the attainment of each student’s full potential and develop non-academic as well as academic skills via the teaching of the subject;

lTo teach predominantly chemistry in IGCSE/A level programs;

lEffective classroom management and efficient organization of resources;

lTo work effectively as part of a teaching team and with other teachers based in the same school;

lTo work under the supervision of head teacher of CAVC(shanghai)center;

lThe teaching languages are English.

Position Requirements

lFamiliar with A-level and CIE curriculum system;

lRelated bachelor degree or above;

lAt least two years related teaching experience;

lBritish Teachers preferred, other English native speakers with good teaching experience are welcome（American, Canadian, Australian, New Zealanders、Irish）.

Salary&Benefits

lSalary: RMB 18,000/month—RMB 20,000/month;

lAccommodation: on-campus free accommodation or accommodation allowance of RMB 2,000 will be provided;

lVacation Payment：basic salary during winter and summer vacations; 

lFlight Ticket: round-trip ticket allowance;

lWork Visa: assist teachers with work visa application;

lContract Period：Jan 2017 to July 2019;

lPosition: a full-time schedule of 40 working hours per week, which includes maximum twenty 45-minute teaching periods per week;

lClass size: about 20 students per class, students age: about 16 years old;

lOffice Time: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm;

lWork Location: Fengxian District, Shanghai.
