Recruiting Qualified Filipino Teachers in Yangon and Mandalay, Myanmar

Horizon International Schools is recruiting qualified Filipino teachers in Yangon and Mandalay, Myanmar. The contract period begins on October 27, 2014 and ends on March 13, 2015. We are looking for art, ICT and social studies (history & geography) teachers with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and at least four years of teaching experience.

Teaching in our school gives you a unique opportunity to exchange language and culture with a bright, amazing group of students. Although Myanmar is a developing country, it is changing rapidly. Flexibility and a sense of adventure will be to your benefit here, as well as a willingness to work within a team and to commit to a strong work ethic. Working hours are from 8:00 in the morning to 4:30 in the afternoon, Monday through Friday, and you will be teaching 25 teaching hours per week. Class sizes are small and kept at no more than 24 students. The salary offered is $1150 per month, accommodation is shared apartments, and lunch is provided on school days.
