Recruiting Two Kindergarten English Teachers in Hangzhou, China

On behalf of Hangzhou Xinghua Qianjin Education Development Company, Bell is recruiting two Kindergarten English teachers to deliver the curriculum of the Bell Kindergarten English Language System and develop the EYFS ethos across their classes. Duties will include:

•Planning activities and delivering lessons relevant to the children’s age and stage of development that support the Bell Curriculum

•Following the agreed daily timetable in order to prepare the days’ activities and welcome children to the classroom.

•Ensuring the cleanliness and correct use of toys and equipment

•Maintaining accurate attendance registers

•Carrying out regular and appropriate observations on children’s play and development, relating findings to the Bell Kindergarten System Learning Outcomes

•Monitoring and collecting evidence of each child’s achievements; keeping daily progress records and completing end of year written reports

•Maintaining on-going feedback with parents regarding their child’s development

•Informing the Academic Manager of any behavioural or developmental difficulties noticed in a child and taking action as instructed by the Academic Manager

•Preparing annual concerts and end of year shows

•Keeping abreast of kindergarten English language teaching developments

•Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons you are responsible for / come into contact with

•Delivering training in preschool education to Qianjin college students if required

•Supporting colleagues and delivering training in curriculum delivery and very young learner methodology

This position will start mid-August and the successful candidates will require a Chinese visa and be able to arrive in Hangzhou mid-August, at the latest.

•Base salary of 16,000-17,000 RMB per month (before tax).
