Regional Director - ESL School

Overview:Our client, a leading InternationalEnglish Language School Group, is recruiting for the position ofRegional Director, Los Angeles. The Regional Director will be overseeing all schools in the region while having direct responsibility for one particular school. The Regional Director is responsible for the success of all school operations and overseeing all programs and services offered at the school including academics, housing, activities, and general administration; looking after the well-being of students and employees; monitoring student satisfaction, staff professionalism, academic integrity, compliance; meeting student enrollment and operating income goals; ensuring that the goals of the company are met; and using good judgment and common sense in all decisions relating to the school’s operation.

Location:Los Angeles, California

Contract Terms:Permanent full-Time; start as soon as possible.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred
2 or more years’ experience as ESL School Director
5 years senior administrative experience in a major ESL School with strong operational, sales and marketing experience
Experience in creating and monitoring departmental and institutional budgets
Must thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, high energy environment
Tact, patience and diplomacy, particularly with a multi-cultural work environment
Exceptional customer service, entrepreneurial and leadership skills
Experience teaching ESL/EFL to adults in a mixed language environment
Foreign language ability preferred
Able to travel locally and work occasional evenings and weekends
Experience working in the United States is essential; International experience, an asset
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
