Wuhan Britain-China School (WHBC) has successfully delivered foundation and other international pre-university programmes for the past thirteen years, during which time more than 1700 students have been accepted by overseas universities. As an approved Cambridge International Examinations Centre (CN276) in Wuhan and a newly approved IB World School (school code: 49452), WHBC is also a member of Oncourse: an organisation fully committed to promoting excellence in international education with campuses across China, including Wuhan, Xi¡¯an and Guangzhou. Each centre works in partnership with one of China¡¯s most prestigious schools. We offer four pre-University programmes: International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), CIE IGCSE and A-Level, the NCUK International Foundation Year and the College Board Advanced Placement.
As part of our continuing expansion, we are recruiting more subject teachers. The initial contract will be for two years. Upon successful completion of the first two years, a three-year contract will be offered. There is a very competitive salary package, including accommodation, paid holiday leave, medical insurance, accident insurance, visa assistance, relocation allowance, repatriation allowance and a return flight allowance.
We are now recruiting teachers of the following subjects:
- Physics
- Economics
- Mathematics
- Chemistry
- Information and Computer Technology
- English Literature
Applicants with relevant A-level, IBDP, or AP teaching experience of the above subjects are highly preferred. The ability to offer a combination of subjects will be an advantage for applicants
