About Us:

Great China International is an education company based in Chengdu, China that provides study and work abroad opportunities and various educational and cultural services pertaining to China and the United States. We have been verified by the Chinese Ministry of Education Industry and Commerce and have branches located in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Kunming, Hainan and Chongqing. Furthermore, we are registered in the U.S., with offices in Dallas, New York and Phoenix. Teaching

We are seeking energetic, creative and dedicated professionals that are passionate about education to join our team. These positions are ideal for individuals that are passionate about international education and have the desire to work and live abroad. A Bachelor's degree for all positions in a related field is required, but no Teaching Certificate is required (but it is a plus!) All our teachers receive a TESL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language, 40 hours) certificate in our program. Candidates must be a native English speaker. A recommendation letter and references will be required upon request.

Job Description:

Teaching

Great China International Education is currently hiring full-time AP Economics Teachers, AP Calculus Teachers and English Teachers for our international programs in many high schools in Chengdu, China. The teaching positions would teach students common AP courses for studying abroad in the States such as economics, calculus, English, history, writing, business, and often teach one elective course- American Culture. The work time is a maximum of 20 teaching hours per week and a total of 40 hours per week at the school (usually 20 + hours for lesson planning and <20 for teaching). There are openings in March 2015, Summer 2015 and opportunities for the next school year (Aug. 2015- June 2016, full school year or semester).
