Yang-En University is seeking native English-speaking teachers for the next Academic Year from Sep. 1, 2012 to Jul. 5, 2013.
A. Positions Provided:
1. Business Classes (10 Positions)
To teach junior and senior students the following subjects:
* International Trade
* Marketing
* Advertising
* Finance
* Journalism
* Management
* Accounting
* Law
* Economics
* Computer
2. English Major Classes( 2 Positions)
Reading, writing, comprehension for English Major students.
3. Oral English Classes( ESL-English as a Second Language) (8 Positions)
Communication in English (Listening, Speaking, Comprehension) for English Major or other students. Teachers are required to submit a teaching plan and schedule before each semester.
B. Requirements:
1. Business Administration
1). MBA, PhD or equivalent advanced degrees and business experience preferred, with at least two years' teaching experience.
2). Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email/internet research).
2. English Major
1). Bachelor's degree and preferably a M.A. in English with a TESOL, TEFL or ESL certificate and a least one year are teaching experience.
2). Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email/internet research).
3. Oral English
1). Bachelor or Master's degree with a TESOL, TEFL or ESL certificate, and at least one-year teaching experience.
2). Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email/internet research).
C. Statement of job specifications:
1. The teaching load is 12 hours per week for the Business Administration or English Major Classes, and 16 hours per week for Oral English classes. Teaching day is from Monday to Friday.
2. Tax-free salary for the 10-month contract ranges from 45,000-60,000RMB, paid monthly in 10 equal monthly installments. The salary level is dependent on the candidate's qualifications and teaching experience. Any overtime teaching is paid monthly as incurred.
3. Party A( YEU) agrees to pay US$1,150 if Party B( Foreign Teacher) travels to countries or regions outside Asia, US$500 for countries or regions in Asia, and RMB¢D2,000 for destinations inside China, Party A is NOT responsible for Party B's other nonrelated travelling fees.
4. Be paid in public holidays.
5. Medical insurance (Acceptance or denies of the coverage is at the insurance company's sole discretion).
6. Rent-free modern air-conditioned 1-bedroom apartment (2-bedroom for a family), furnished with color TV, refrigerator, air conditioner, curtain, telephone, kitchen and bathroom with basic furniture.
7. Transportation to YEU from Xiamen International Airport upon commencement of contract.
