Company Introduction:
Athena Academy is a fast growing international education academy with an ambitious vision of what can be achieved through transformative education in China. With locations throughout China and online, we are changing the way Chinese families think about English language education and overseas study. So far Athena has established 5 teaching centers in 4 cities throughout China and will expand to 10 centers in 7 cities by the end of 2017. Athena Academy are looking for exceptional, enthusiastic and creative educators to engage with innovative teaching approaches, and contribute to the development and delivery of outstanding and engaging language and design courses.

Positions:1. Senior English Teacher (Shanghai)
2. Head Teacher (Ningbo)
3. Curriculum Developers (Shenzhen/Shanghai/Ningbo/Hangzhou)

Position Details as follow:

Senior English Teacher (Location:Shanghai)

Main Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high quality Phonics, literature and writing classes to students (age 6-13)
2. Discern the structure of the day's lesson plan
3. Issue and explain homework assignments
4. Liaise with Head Teacher/Teacher Manager
5. Write student assessment reports
6. Undertake regular library coaching duties
7. Uphold professional behavior and etiquette
8. Prepare all printouts required for the session (quizzes, handouts, homework sheets etc.)
9. Assist in marketing activities and promotions
10. 5 days * 8hours per week (including 25-27 teaching hours), 2 weekdays off per week.

Compensation:
1. Competitive monthly basic salary around 18-20K (Negotiable according to ability and experience)
2. Work visa provided
3. Annual bonus up to 1 month salary
4. 10 days paid annual leave + 12 paid sick leave + 12 days statory holidays/year

Candidate Requirements:
1. Native English speakers from US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa
2. Bachelor's degree or above
3. Teaching certificate preferred.
4. 2+years reading/writing teaching experience on English courses for kids
5. International school experience preferred

Head Teacher (Location:Ningbo)

Main Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high quality Phonics, literature and writing classes to students (age 6-13)
2. Discern the structure of the day's lesson plan
3. Issue and explain homework assignments, write student assessment reports.
4. Prepare all printouts required for the session (quizzes, handouts, homework sheets etc.)
5. Support company marketing events.
6. Pro-active oversight of teacher course file and lesson plans, support curriculum development if needed
7. Conduct interviews of new teachers, reporting feedback to Teacher Manager.
8. Complete center teaching department report, teacher observation and evaluation, timely feedback to teachers. Organize teacher meeting, training workshop if needed.
9. 5 days * 8hours per week, 2 days off per week.

Compensation:

Curriculum Developer (Work Location:Shenzhen/Shanghai/Ningbo/Hangzhou)

Main Responsibilities:
Duties & Responsibilities
1.Assist with the planning, development, implementation, and revision of curriculum in keeping with changes in practice, legislation, and regulation as well as competencies required to meet delegation requirements when necessary
2.Assist with the planning, development, implementation, and revision of curriculum in keeping with best practices
3.Track development cycles and ensure that any problems are addressed when needed and resolved quickly.
4.Conduct research and consult with key collaborators for curriculum development purposes.
5.Prepare instructional material for printing and develop outlines with the necessary details to direct instruction
6.Develop learning objectives and goals for each new curriculum and review learning objective for existing curriculum
7.Inform the development of a research database that may be utilized to develop and review curriculum.
8.Identify resources required to develop and deliver training projects
9.Other curriculum development and webinar development as directed
10.Perform other duties as assigned.
11.5 days * 8hours per week, 2 weekdays off per week.

Compensation:
1. Monthly salary around 18000-27000 (Negotiable according to ability and experience)
