We have some excellent opportunities available to work at public schools throughout Korea's capital city with the SMOE.

Start to teach at public schools with good benefits.

* Positions: Public schools (Elementary. Middle, High schools)
* Starting date: March 1st, 2010
* Working hours: 8:30AM-4:30PM (Mon-Fri)
* Teaching hours: 22 hours per week
* Salary: 2.0~2.7 million won / monthly (Depends on qualification)
* Vacations: 21 working days paid vacation a year and all Korean national holidays
* Housing: Fully furnished single housing is provided or housing allowance is provided
* 300,000 won Settlement pay upon teacher is arrival
* Airfare: Round trip ticket provided
* 50% medical insurance, 50% national pension plan supported
* 100% Severance pay (1 month bonus)
* Training & Orientation – 8 days of training & orientation provided (Takes place upon arrival)
* Support – Partnered with a Korean English teacher at your school
** Duties and responsibilities
The responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
-Conducting English classes in cooperation with Korean homeroom or English language teachers.
-Preparing teaching materials and activities for English language education
-Assisting with the development of teaching materials related to English language education.
-Assisting with activities related to English language education and other extracurricular activities.
(Judging English speech contest, voice recording for English listening comprehension tests, conducting English conversational classes in the English camp, etc.)
**The SMOE places teachers in particular schools during the orientation period according to their abilities and interests.**
