Teach English speaking to elementary and middle-school students in the public schools of Xian and Yan’an, Shaanxi Province, China. The full-time workweek is twenty 40-minute classes, M-F. The ten-month term of employment spans late August 2019 to late June 2020 and includes time-off during the winter holiday. Xian, a capital of ancient China and home of the Terracotta Army, is a cosmopolitan provincial capital and the eastern terminus of the Silk Road.

Minimum requirements for the position are a bachelor's degree and a TEFL or TESL certificate (minimum 120 hours). Compensation includes a RT airline ticket west coast USA to Xian, 10,000 RMB per four weeks teaching, 1,000 RMB winter holiday stipend, and lodging in your own furnished apartment.
