We are currently recruiting for our Beijing Head Office school in Zhichunlu, Haidian as well as or Nanyang school in Henan province, central China to start in mid-February.

We are looking for individuals who are friendly, outgoing, culturally inquisitive, and enjoy working with young children.

• Competitive salary: 11,000-14,000 RMB

• Eighty teaching hours a month, five working days a week.

• Overtime rate (137RMB- 175RMB per hour)

Shane English School Zhichunlu is the headquarters for the company’s operations in northern China. The school is a direct training establishment meaning it is owned by the Shane organization. The students are primarily young learners- kindergarten and elementary school ages, but we also teach older children and some adults. The Haidian area in which our Head Office is located is not far from the heart of the city and is a five minute walk from a major subway station. It also contains a large number of popular tourist destinations including the old and new summer palaces, Beijing zoo, and fragrant hills scenic area. We are looking for a teacher to start in early January.

Situated in the southwest of Henan province, Nanyang City borders Funiu Mountain to the north, Qinling Mountain to the west and the Han River to the south. With a population of 10.65 million, it is the third largest city in Henan Province. It is an interesting city to live and work where the "rural" atmosphere of old China, contrasts with the modern city centre. It is a bustling, lively and safe place with friendly and courteous local people. The Shane Nanyang School is able to provide free accommodation for it’s teachers.

Requirements:

1. Age 24+

2. Native English speaker

3. Passport holder from UK, IRE, USA, CAN, SA, AUS or NZ.

4. TEFL/TESOL certificate accompanied by a Bachelor’s degree (any discipline)

5. Two years post-graduation work experience in any field.

6. One year commitment
