Shanghai: 2 Language Arts and History Teachers - Immediate

NEW HORIZONS TEST PREP, a well-established and well respected Shanghai language centre, is seeking 2 qualified LANGUAGE ARTS/HISTORY teachers.

• Our Language Arts program consists mainly of writing and reading comprehension based on well-known literature.
• History courses are Pre-AP American and World History
• Our students are mainly high level or native English speakers attending international schools. They range in age from 10 to 18.

CONTRACT DURATION:
• 1 year contract to start before the end of June 5th

REQUIRED;
• These positions are open to native English speaking teachers ONLY with preference given to citizens of the U.K. U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. Teachers who are NOT from one of the recognized English speaking countries are unlikely to be successful.
• Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or better.
• Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience
• A TESOL or TEFEL certificate is desirable.
• TEACHERS ALREADY IN CHINA ARE PREFERRED.

• Salary: 18,000 RMB per month
