We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of the UK’S leading international education and culture organisation in China. . This is an exciting opportunity for experienced examiners and examiner trainers as well as TESOL professionals interested in training up as examiners.

Examiners will be based in one of four cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chongqing. Writing and marking is conducted in the main cities and examiners also conduct speaking tests in their 'home city', however examiners will be required to travel regularly to conduct speaking tests in different test centres around China. Trips last between two and four days, with transport and a good standard of hotel accommodation. Travel is by flight or high-speed train.

This innovative working model will allow examiners to increase their earning potential or opt for more flexibility in terms of monthly workload. We are offering 1-year full-time contracts and a highly competitive guaranteed monthly income. Travel throughout China is an essential aspect of the work.

In addition to the earning potential, the examiner package includes annual leave, medical benefits and a full working visa.

Essential Criteria: To apply for the positions you MUST meet the client’s following requirements:

- A high proficiency in English

- Native English Speakers (or IELTS band of 8/9)

- Bachelor’s Degree (any subject but must be from an accredited university)

- CELTA/ Trinity cert TESOL certification (alternative qualifications are not accepted, even if they are considered ‘higher’ including an MA)

- 3 years' EFL teaching experience with at least 1-year MUST be post-qualification
