We’re located 3 hours from Beijing and 6 hours from Xi’an famous for the terracotta soldiers. We’ve got streets lined in weeping willows, sheltering the hundreds of street vendors selling everything from fruit to ornaments and mobile phones. If you’ve had enough of teaching in big, westernized cities like Shanghai, Guangzhou or Shenzhen, but don’t want to be too far away from Beijing, consider what Taiyuan has to offer.

Candidates should have a university degree and a recognized teaching English as a foreign language certification, like the EF Certificate in TEFL, which contains a minimum of 6 hours observed teaching practice (equivalent qualifications like Trinity Cert. TESOL or CELTA are also acceptable).
