Our client is a well-established education consulting firm which headquarter is located in Shenzhen, China. The company is experienced in providing university admission consulting and strategy services to Chinese high school students who are seeking best possible admission results to U.S. Universities. Now, our client is looking for Education Consultants to work in Beijing. Position: Strategic Consultant (SC)

Location: Beijing, China

Requirements:

1. Native English speakers from US.
2. A Bachelor’s Degree or above that’s obtained from top 30 university in the US.
3. Age under 35 years old.
4. Be willing to work over 40 hours a week, including weekends when necessary.
5. Be good at public speaking and communicating with young people.
6. Have ability to provide professional customer service.
7. Have strong writing and editing skills.
8. Commitment to education and personal development.
9. Willingness to travel if necessary.

Responsibilities:

1. Research and understand the college admissions landscape and application process, and guide them through the application process.
2. Provide strategic consulting service to students and their families.
3. Provide extracurricular planning and academic advising services to younger students who are not yet ready to apply for colleges in the US.
4. Help students to identify their talents and potentials.
5. Evaluate potential majors and choose the ideal colleges for students.
6. Assist students with creation and development of admissions essays.
7. Supervise all applications and steps to make sure quality and completion.
8. Assist with academic advising and planning of activities for younger students.
9. Execute and manage Consulting Strategic Direction.
10. Provide regular reports and updates to Consulting Manager and Center Managers.
11. Help Center Manager with marketing, sales, promotion, and other activities.
12. Participate in weekly meetings with the consulting team.

Benefits:

1. Salary: 24,000 – 28,000 RMB every month, depending on qualifications and working experience.
2. Bonus: 5% of basic salary for each extra student.

Interview Process (less than one week):

1. Pre-screen / First Interview à will be conducted by foreign Education consultants who are working for the company at the moment.
2. Written examination.
